Gene Boger joined the United States Army in 1967 and rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel before retiring in 1988. His service to his country included a combat tour in Vietnam and an operational tour in South Korea. He was a Commanding Officer at Fort Hood and Fort Bragg, a Deputy Commander at Patrick AFB, and also served as a Comptroller and Inspector General during his years of military service.

Mr. Boger received his B.A. degree in Political Science in 1974 from Columbus College, and his J.D. with honors from Florida State University College of Law in 1990.
