We focus our practice on the representation of community associations. Taylor & Carls,
P. A. provides comprehensive legal representation for community associations
in all areas affecting the existence and operation of the association.
These areas include transition from developer control; covenant enforcement;
assessment collection; litigation, mediation and arbitration; contract
negotiation; and review, interpretation and amendment of the association’s
documents. Taylor & Carls places a high priority on providing counsel to its clients in finding permanent solutions to their problems (which aren’t always found in the courtroom). Of course, aggressive representation is provided when litigation is advisable or unavoidable. Keeping its clients well-informed is important to Taylor & Carls. The firm provides seminars and training for managers and members of condominium and homeowner associations. Taylor & Carls is approved by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation as a provider of continuing education for community association managers. We are members of the Community Associations Institute of Florida (Mid-Florida and Suncoast Chapters) and the Space Coast Condominiums Association. The members of the firm are keeping pace with the trend toward mediation and alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Taylor is certified as a mediator in Circuit and County Courts, and Mr. Carls is a certified Circuit Court mediator and Insurance mediator.
